Place of data processing

The processing operations related to this site's web services take place at the aforementioned headquarters and are handled only by technical personnel of the Office in charge of processing, or by any persons in charge of occasional maintenance operations. No data deriving from the web service is communicated or disseminated. The personal data provided by users who request informational materials (e.g., newsletters, documents, answers to questions, quotes, and any type of electronic contact) are used solely to perform the requested service and are disclosed to third parties only if necessary for that purpose.

Browsing data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. This information is not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified. This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of computers used by users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) ​​addresses of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server response (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computer environment. This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on site usage and to verify its proper functioning, and is deleted immediately after processing. The data could be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of hypothetical computer crimes against the site: except for this eventuality, web contact data is currently not retained for more than seven days.

Failure to provide such data may make it impossible to obtain what is requested, whether information or any other type of service. For the sake of completeness, it should be noted that in some cases (not covered by the ordinary management of this site), the Authority may request information pursuant to Article 157 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003, for the purposes of monitoring the processing of personal data. In these cases, compliance is mandatory under penalty of administrative sanctions.

Treatment methods

Personal data is processed using automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected. Specific security measures are implemented to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use, and unauthorized access (password-protected access, encryption, firewalls, etc.).

Rights of interested parties

Data subjects have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of their personal data and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy, or request its integration, updating, or rectification (Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003). Pursuant to the same article, data subjects have the right to request the deletion, anonymization, or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, as well as to object, for legitimate reasons, to its processing.
